Join us for our second installment of Forest Bathing where we will receive our award and designation as an Old Growth Forest.
The practice of forest bathing involves surrounding yourself with trees and nature for a number of mental and physical benefits. This program begins with a 20-minute seated meditation session followed by a one-hour walking forest bathing session led by certified Forest Therapy Guide Fereshteh Toosi.
This experience will take place within Vizcaya’s Rockland Hammocks, an endangered type of subtropical forest that surrounds the estate. We’ll bathe our senses in the healing qualities of our environment, make time for self-reflection, and share our experiences through conversation, leaving refreshed by a unique contemplative practice that to carry into everyday life.
Includes a light snack of dried fruit and nuts as well as an herbal infusion to close our experience. Snacks are vegan and gluten-free. Please let us know if you have any allergies or food restrictions.
